“Ministries want to recycle coal power waste”

Vietnam has 21 coal power plants discharging over 15 million metric tons of ash and slag each year. By the end of 2017, Vietnam had about 40 million metric tons of such by-products. Now, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Construction is looking to recycle coal combustion products as construction materials.
