“Land Rover BAR to partner with ELG Carbon Fibre to recycle material for America’s Cup vessel”

ELG Carbon Fibre Ltd, a partner to Land Rover BAR in the construction of its America’s Cup yacht, will process all carbon fiber manufacturing waste and end-of-use parts to recover the carbon fiber they contain. The recovered fibers will be converted into milled and chopped fibers to make thermoset and thermoplastic compounds, as well as nonwoven mats used in the manufacture of composite structures.
