Georgia Power Ash Ponds

Burning coal for electricity in Georgia is dwindling, by 2028 there may be only one coal-fired power plant in the state. Georgia Power has numerous ash ponds, which they are excavating and transporting to lined landfills or even selling for use in building materials.
