“ArcelorMittal honored for slag recycling effort”

A slag recycling project at the ArcelorMittal steel mill, in Ostrava, Czech Republic, has been honored by that country’s Ministry of Industry and Trade through its “Transforming waste into resources” competition. The project substituted the primary raw materials for steelmaking with processed recycled slag.
